Winter - the time of year you either love or hate. Mostly those who do not like it, are those who don’t know what to do with themselves - then it drag on endlessly and just annoy us. We love winter, especially in Poland, because it is beautiful, crisp, and we have so many opportunities. We want to share with you our winter passion and show the Polish Tatras, beautiful landscapes, tons of snow, the power of skiing and friendly people of the mountains. With us you will taste the traditional highland dishes, skiing on many slopes and bathe in the thermal pools. We’d like to present to you our winter program must-to-do-in-Poland.

Day 1:
Day 1:

After your arrival in Krakow you cannot miss Christmas markets in town. In the afternoon we arrive with private transport to the vicinity of Zakopane, where will be staying in highland hut. In the evening we go out to explore the area, go to the old center of Zakopane and eat a traditional dinner given by waiters wearing folkloristic dresses. Sin would be not to try Polish liqueurs and flavored vodka produced according to old recipes. Tonight - highlight - we take you for World Cup Ski Jumping competition - prepare your throat to shout, take scarf and enjoy crazy night during supporting ski-jumpers.

Day 2:

Time for a little warm-up. After breakfast go for hiking to one of the most beautiful mountain lakes "Morskie Oko". It is situated in a valley at the foot of the highest peak in the Polish Tatras "Rysy". For those who want to have it more comfy, they can go up with horse-drawn sleigh. By the lake is the atmospheric wooden shelter from XIX century, where you can relax and eat something warm. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

 

Day 3:

For the next three days you will have the opportunity to learn skiing for beginners, or improvement techniques - for intermediates. People who are good skiers and want to ski on their own, they can be taken to Kasprowy mountain and go up with cable car  to enjoy the ride in the higher parts of the mountains.
Ski training will be taking place from 10am to 1pm. Not skiers can try other activities such as chair lifts, sledges or mulled wine with grilled smoked sheep cheese with mountain view at one of the many taverns. During evening, you can go for shopping in town, where we recommend handmade woolen sweaters and socks.

Day 4:
Day 4:

From 10am to 1pm we continue with our ski training. The others go with us for a crazy downhill on a sledge of Gubałówka mountain - excitement guaranteed. In the afternoon there will be time for a well-deserved relax. We will take you to the thermal pools, to find health bath in water at temperature close to 40 degrees Celsius. In the facility there is also plenty of different types of saunas and a normal pool for swimming, as well as water pipes. This is an outstanding feeling when you bathe outdoor in this very warm water and the outside temperature is minus 10...

Day 5:
Day 5:

In the morning, after breakfast, we start ski lessons from 9 to 12, then, we take you to the top of the most famous ski mountain in Poland - "Kasprowy Wierch". To get to the top we take half an hour cable car and from the top you can see the beauty of the Tatras and two amazing ski slopes. For those who feel up to it will be able to pull over to ski from the top. At the top of Kasprowy there is a restaurant where you can eat well after a day of skiing. Those who do not ride certainly will not be bored - around there is a mass of interesting trails, and if the weather is good, you can sunbathe while sipping mulled beer.
This is not the end of excitement – you will remember this day for a long time yet. At night we will go for horse sleigh ride with fire-torches called "kulig" (google that!) This is the traditional way of fun for Highlanders. We take small sledges, string them behind horse sleigh and go into the wild forest. At the end of the ride there will be bonfire waiting for us with excellent food and a lot of good drinks included ;)

Day 6:
Day 6:

Time for a little culture ;-) In the morning we will go to the Tatras museum "Koliba", where you can see how people of mountains lived in the past, admire the old architecture and feel the breath of highland history.
Around noon we go to our neighbors - Slovakia. We will visit the mountain resort Tatranska Lomnica, where you can taste and buy Slovak liquor known throughout the world - Absynth. After that we will have a sumptuous dinner in real gypsy tavern, where there is no menu card, just listen to what the waiter recommend, and in the middle there are chickens rolling on a spit. This place is ideal for a farewell feast in mountain style.

After breakfast, time for a little shopping, souvenirs, exchange pictures and go back to Krakow. If you want to stay longer, we can always prepare more attractions or help you in organizing your stay in Krakow.
