After your arrival in Kiev and after border formalities you will go to the hotel. Then with a local guide you will discover the nooks and crannies of the city. You will visit, among others: The Arsenal Metro (the deepest metro in the world), Mary's Park and Parliament, Majdan, the Cathedral of God's Wisdom, Volodymyr Hill, the old town.
Today you will have a day trip to Chernobyl. First you will see the town of Chernobyl - fully inhabited, monument to Lenin, monument to firefighters, machines used during the liquidation. From afar you will see a silver sarcophagus over reactor no. 4. You will drive under the sarcophagus checking the radiation. Then you will have lunch at the local canteen, where more than 2,000 employees of the entire zone are crowded every day. The afternoon is a long walk through the recesses of abandoned Pripyat. We will take you to a desolate school, a swimming pool, a basketball court, and you will see the remnants of the stadium, shops, hotels and restaurants, where people abandoned everything they had overnight. When you leave the zone, you will pass radiation controls with our bus, so beware!
In the evening you can go to Art Zavod - an unusual climatic meeting place, rich in cultural events, often enriched by local musicians and DJs. The Ulichnaya Eda Festival will take place on this Day!
We leave you free time until the transfer to the airport. You can visit Kiev Pechersk Lavra, a medieval complex of Orthodox churches and definitely worth visiting National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War. Remember that one of the options that we can organize for you is a visit to the former Villa of President Yanukovych, which is currently the Museum of Corruption.
